Corporate Potager Garden

Etihad Airways commissioned a vegetable garden for staff at their Head Quarter in Abu Dhabi, to enjoy growing and socialising together.

Afrinoon Permaculture designed a simple raised bed system, with fruit trees in pots, as the selected site had many critical services (IT and cooling systems) running underneath. It has previously just been laid to grass with a small border of annual plants that had to be constantly replenished.

Prior to the first seedlings being planted in winter 2016, Afrinoon ran a Introduction to Vegetable Gardening course for volunteers at the training centre, so the novice gardeners were equipped to enjoy the growing season.
